If it hasn't become apparent yet, it will very soon, that the church is about to undergo a great reformation. All of the polls show the decrease in the number of people who call themselves Christians. Since 2020 and the COVID pandemic people have chosen to stay home and watch church on TV rather than to watch it from their pews. People are realizing that the world is changing and the brick and mortar traditions of the past are becoming less appealing. They are searching for something more meaningful than going to a building and listening to the chosen few.
Revelation is pouring in like never before in history. What we are about to walk into is like nothing ANYONE of us has ever seen. That is why it is so important to be hearing and following the Holy Spirit. As He begins to move in His people, we will see a church that looks more like the book of Acts than the Old Testament temple worship. The BODY will become more relational and we will move and demonstrate the power of the Holy Spirit together, with everyone recognizing their spiritual gifts. We need to have a revelation of the Body and how it functions. The only way a body can function with ALL of its parts being active is if the HEAD is what is leading. Of course, we know that Jesus is the head. However, in order to be fully connected to the HEAD, we must first be ALTARed.
The word ALTARed is not in the Bible, but what it represents is Galatians 2:20 and many other scriptures in the Bible that say we must die to live. We have been crucified with Christ (if we are His), if so, it is no long I who live, but CHRIST who lives IN me. If the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwells in you, then HE will quicken your mortal body. He works in us to both WILL and DO of His good pleasure. Do you see the pattern? If we die, HE lives. If we surrender and wait on Him, then HE will plant HIS will in us and empower these ALTARed vessels to DO what pleases Him.
